The sixty-first Annual Berkeley County Youth Fair is happening this week, August 4 - 9, at the Harry D. Shelley Park (formerly known as The Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds) in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Exhibits open at noon, daily with an admission price of five dollars for anyone thirteen and older. The Carnival opens daily at six p.m., and at four p.m. on Saturday. Tuesday's Carnival admission is only twelve dollars, with all other nights at fifteen dollars.
Josh Gracin will be performing at the Amphitheater on Wednesday night at eight p.m. Josh Gracin gained his fame during the second season of American Idol. Josh was the Marine everyone was cheering for and he came in fourth place in the end. Sticking to his commitment to the Marine Corps, Josh did not tour with the rest of the top ten American Idol finalists, instead completed his stint as a recruiting tool, making public appearances at special events as an ambassador for the Marine Corps. Since then, he signed with Lyric Street Records and has recently released his second album.
The other major events happening during the Berkeley County Youth Fair this year are: Monday and Tuesday nights' Truck and Tractor Pulls; Thursday night's Circle B Cattle Company Bull Riding Show; Friday night's Demolition Derby; and Saturday night's Double Figure Eight Derby. Big Brother 10 Houseguests Entertain Themselves by Putting on a Show
Big Brother 10 Houseguests Entertain Themselves by Putting on a Show
An Excerpt:
What a crazy, fun and creative way the houseguests found to entertain themselves on July 19, 2008. They put on a show for and with each other. Groups got together to create segments. Renny's collection of wigs, hats and boas came in handy.
Renny is to open the show with a dance. Libra will be a therapist. Steven, Jerry and Michelle will be talk show hosts giving out a top ten list of things to do in the Big Brother house when there is nothing else to do. Jessie and Memphis are doing a mock Antiques Roadshow. April is going to be a Barbie gone wild.

Big Brother 10 Fight - Libra VS Renny & Jerry
My article:
Big Brother 10 - The Old People VS Libra - Screamfest
An Excerpt:
If the start of the day is any indication, today will be a boring day in the Big Brother house. Keesha and Libra get up and talk game for an hour, then realize nothing is scheduled for them to do today, so they curl back into bed. Oh, but how things change in the Big Brother house.
Shortly after Producers woke the houseguests up for the day, Jerry and Libra get into an all out screamfest. Libra complained about having two "old people" on her team for the food challenge and Jerry was offended and confronted her about what she said. Their voices escalated quickly and the other houseguests were forced into the drama.

Harlotry to Royalty
This is something I wanted to share from my email..
Rahab: Going Out on a Limb Through faith, Rahab saved her life and her family's.
(Joshua 2, 6:20-25, Hebrews 11:31)
Joshua sent two men to check out Jericho, a city the Israelite people would have to conquer in order to enter their promised land. The two spies hid out at Rahab's home. Rahab helped the Godly men, for she knew that God had given them Jericho.
The king found out the spies were staying at this harlot's residence, and he wanted to see the men. So Rahab, confident and a quick thinker, sent the king on a "wild goose chase."
In exchange for giving the spies protection and an escape plan, Rahab asked the men to keep her and her family safe when they returned to overtake Jericho. The Israelites agreed. The spies were true to their word, as Rahab was.
Rahab kept the spies' whereabouts a secret, even though it put her life and family's in jeopardy. When the Israelites overthrew Jericho, the only residents spared were Rahab and her family. Rahab was rewarded for trusting in God, for she and her loved ones became a part of God's
people.
Harlotry to Royalty
Rahab was an overcomer. She led a sinful life but didn't remain there. She ended up a wife, a grandmother, and part of the generation of David, a royal king and Jesus our Savior. Rahab was the wife of Salmon, mother to Boaz, and great, great, great grandmother to David, the first king of Israel. Jesus also shares Rahab's lineage as a direct descendant of King David. (Matthew 1:5-6, 16)
God overlooked Rahab's flawed tendencies. He does the same for us today. Although Rahab's lifestyle wasn't God's best for her, God was able to use her in bringing His will to pass. God isn't the one reminding us of past mistakes. He doesn't want us to remain a captive to our past but to thrive. "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV)
Lord, I need some wisdom fast. There are many things happening, which I don't understand. Especially those things I think You would or should do differently. I know, I know, Your ways are not mine, and You alone see the full picture. Replace my doubts with faith that You
really do have my best interest at heart. Reveal things about myself that I haven't believed in a long time. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Today was supposed to be a good day
It was.. supposed to be that is..
I got so angry that I was crying and shaking. It stinks that I cannot even blog about what got me so upset because it involves someone else's bad choices in life. All I can safely say out there in cyberland is that one of that person's bad choices was affecting someone else whom I care for and I just could not stand by without saying anything. And I said a lot..

Good Morning Fight - Big Brother 9
Allison heard that Shelia was talking about her behind her back, so she went into the bathroom and lit into her.. then once everything settled down, Allison followed Shelia up into the HOH room to start in on her again, but Sharon ripped into Allison for calling her a liar in the game. Then Shelia and Allison got into it.
The fight is in two parts... the first part is the bathroom fight and the second part is the HOH fight.

James' Tattoos - Big Brother 9
Everyone keeps asking about the tattoos that CBS has been blurring out. PLUS, James has to wear band-aids to cover some of his tattoos.
Since the tattoos' imagery and language is offensive, I did not want to put photos and stuff up on my regular Big Brother 9 webpage.. so I made another one and this is for Adults Only!
www.squidoo.com/jamestattoos
There are photos, videos and descriptions... PLUS you can debate on whether you think James should be forced to wear band-aids twenty-four hours a day!
